Hello there!

My name is Gioia, just as my name says ( Gioia means "Joy" in italian) I am a very "joyful" person! I am very energetic and enthusiastic and enjoy travelling and discovering places and cultures. I'm very sociable, outdoorsy and love to do DIY work.
Whenever I travel I try to work-away so to discover the place from the locals' point of view! I love people's stories!

I've taken part for a few years in a drama club and I LOVE theatre!
My friends know me for organizing events and always suggesting some interesting adventure.

I have worked at cafes, organised activities for groups of people, and done a lot of volunteering work that included hard manual work (one of many: I shovelled horse shit around Iceland for 3 weeks to help revegetate the land )

I have a background in both business and design, so I love to do manual work and make it look nice by nature. Currenty,l I am working in IT, so I love to do manual work even more now (it's a great way to take a break from the screens)! I am a sporty outdoorsy person always enthusiastic about trying new things!

Gioia's name isn't there for no reason: she is a very positive person, full of Joy (Gioia in Italian) and it was a pleasure having her here in Rome. She was also always eager to help, and I really appreciated her input. She is very smart and learned quickly and with ease, and was able to help me also with organizational aspect.
