Description
We are John (64) and Lise (53) who love our place with all the plants and all the animals. We are trying to create a place where animals, plants and people are happy. We like to meet new people and hear about your life experiences.

You can learn about permaculture and forest gardening if you are interested in that.And learn how to take care for different animals.
Aide
We need help with the animals (ponies, sheep, pigs, ducks and chickens) and in the garden.
In the cold and rainy periods there will be painting tasks inside the house.
When the weather is right we have a lot of different projects outside; e.g. fencing and renovating the animalhouses.
We all take turns cooking.
Since we both work full time and don't have a lot of time to work together with workaways we recommend that you come two people. You are still welcome if you travel alone, but you must be prepared to do most work on your own.
We live in the countryside and in wintertime it is quiet and dark here.
If you like animals and a quiet life in the countryside and can put up with two elderly people our place is the perfect place :-)

Hébergement
You will have your own room and share the rest of the house with us. We have two rooms with a one and a half bed that is suitable for one person or a couple.
We provide food for all meals. The ingredients are 90% organic and some is produced on our place. If you are a vegetarian or vegan or are on a special diet please let us know ahead of your arrival.

Asuka stayed with us for four days. We very much enjoyed her visit. She helped prepare new beds in the garden and cooked delicious Japanese food for us with homemade miso. Very sophisticated. She was sweet and easy to be with. She also taught us origami. All in all a lovely experience for us.

Adam stayed with us for four days. He contributed to our compost container project with a very nice and detailed drawing and sawing out all the boards to be used. Adam was very careful with what he did and he was happy and positive towards us and very nice to be around.
