Description
We are John (63) and Lise (52) who love our place with all the plants and all the animals. We are trying to create a place where animals, plants and people are happy. We like to meet new people and hear about your life experiences.

You can learn about permaculture and forest gardening if you are interested in that.
Aide
We need help with the animals (ponies, sheep, pigs and chickens) and in the garden.
In the cold and rainy periods there will be painting tasks inside the house.
When the weather is right we have a lot of different projects outside; e.g. a pizza oven that needs to be finished, fencing and a small pond for a family of ducks and bushes that need to be cut.
Part of the job will also be making dinner for everybody, so it's a big plus if you like to cook and sometimes don't mind following a recipe.
We both have full time work, so you need to be able to work independently. We have room for two workways and we will try to coordinate it so that (at least some of the time) there are two or more workaways at the same time.

Hébergement
You will have your own room and share the rest of the house with us. We have two rooms with a one and a half bed that is suitable for one person or a couple.
We provide food for all meals. The ingredients are 90% organic and some is produced on our place. If you are a vegetarian or vegan or are on a special diet please let us know ahead of your arrival.

Asuka stayed with us for four days. We very much enjoyed her visit. She helped prepare new beds in the garden and cooked delicious Japanese food for us with homemade miso. Very sophisticated. She was sweet and easy to be with. She also taught us origami. All in all a lovely experience for us.
