  Hi, I'm Diana, I'm 65 years old, but I can't believe it! I live with my two dogs in a traditional stone house in the north of La Palma (Canary Islands), on an organic farm. I'm in a peaceful spot with a sea view, very close to the network of trails that crisscross this wonderful island, ideal for anyone wanting to discover the heart of La Palma. My dream is to create an edible forest based on regenerative agriculture, and I'm looking for someone who shares my vision and can lend a hand with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  Hola, soy Diana, tengo 65 años, pero no me lo creo!
  Vivo con mis dos perros en una casita tradicional de piedra en el norte de la Isla de La Palma (Canarias), en una finca ecológica.
  Estoy en un sitio tranquilo con vista al mar, muy cerca de la red de los senderos que cruzan esta maravillosa isla, ideal para quien quiera descubrir el corazón de La Palma.
  Mi sueño es crear un bosque comestible basado en agricultura regenerativa y busco alguien que comparta mi visión y que pueda echarme una mano con alegría y buen rollo.

  Most of us who live here have moved away from the city to connect with nature and the more authentic values of existence. I love meeting people from other cultures; the residents of this region come from all over the world, and there's an interesting cultural mix. Many of the children here speak two or three different languages. Cultural activities (music, markets, workshops, etc.) are frequently organized throughout the island.
  
  La mayoría de los que vivimos aquí nos hemos alejado de la ciudad para conectar con la naturaleza y los valores mas auténticos de la existencia.
  Me encanta conocer gente de otras culturas, los vecinos de esta comarca proceden de todo el mundo y hay una interesante mezcla cultural, muchos de los niños de esta zona hablan 2 o 3 idiomas diferentes.
  En toda la Isla a menudo se organizan actividades culturales ( música, mercadillos, talleres,...)

  Ideal candidates should have basic knowledge of organic farming or permaculture and speak Spanish or Italian.

  Los candidatos ideales deberán tener unos conocimientos basicos de agricultura ecológica o permacultura y hablar español o italiano.

  Hébergement

  Accommodation will be in a caravan in good condition, for one or two people (there is a double bed and two single beds, plus a small kitchen). I will provide helpers with breakfast (in the caravan) and lunch (at my house).
  The food will be vegetarian, based on local produce, most of which will be organic.
  I will provide the helpers with the ingredients for dinner or a financial contribution, and they will be able to cook and eat in the caravan, which has a stove and sink.

  El alojamiento será en una caravana en buenas condiciones, para una o dos personas (hay una cama doble y dos camas individuales, además de una pequeña cocina).
  Voy a ofrecer a los ayudantes un almuerzo vegetariano basado en productos locales, en la mayor parte ecológicos.
  La cena estará a cargo de los ayudantes.

  My lifestyle is very simple and peaceful. I don't like loud noises or music. I also don't like alcohol or drugs. I greatly appreciate calm and responsible people who know how to enjoy the simple life, in contact with nature. This is the ideal place for anyone with good legs who wants to go hiking, from the sea to the mountains! There are many wonderful places to visit on La Palma, and an extensive network of trails. The bus stop is 2 km from the property. Public transport isn't very frequent in this area (every 2 hours), but hitchhiking works very well.

  Mi estilo de vida es muy simple y tranquilo, no me gustan los ruidos ni la música con volumen alto. Tampoco me gusta el consumo de alcohol y de droga.
  Aprecio mucho la gente tranquila y responsable, que sepa disfrutar de la vida simple, a contacto con la naturaleza.
  
  Este es el sitio ideal para quien tenga buenas piernas y quiera practicar senderismo, desde el mar hasta el monte!
  Hay muchos sitios maravillosos para visitar en La Palma, y una red de senderos muy extensas.
  
  La parada del bus (guagua) se encuentra a 2km de la finca. En esta zona los trasportes públicos no son muy frecuentes (cada 2 horas) pero funciona muy bien el autostop.
