Dear hosts!

I am Zsófi, a 23 years old Hungarian girl, who was born and raised in the north part of Serbia. I have a big family and very adventurous life and heart I could say. :)

In general, there are four things in life that bring me happiness in life: being in nature, being with kids, cooking&baking, and traveling.

I love connecting with people from all around the world, embracing the beauty of cultural colorfulness, and talking about my culture and country (countries).

I worked in multiple countries and had the opportunity to work in amazing teams of energetic, positive people from different countries.

I got my first summer job when I was 17, I worked in Hungary in a water park, as a kitchen helper. Next summer I worked at the seaside in Bulgaria, where I was a German Hotel Entertainer, for the kids. Later I also worked in a small healthy fast food restaurant in my hometown as a waitress/barista. After high school I went to Germany for almost half a year, to work as an Au pair for 3 adorable German children. After this, my destiny led me to the Canary Islands, where I was working again as a kids entertainer in Tenerife and in Lanzarote. I loved it there, the islands were so beautiful, and the people are amazing!

Then I started university in Budapest, so I was babysitting in Budapest, and also worked for a gardening company, did some gardening work occasionally. I worked for one month in a Harry Potter theme restaurant, and also at an interactive science exhibition, as a hostess/animator.

The summer of 2022 was about Workaway for me, i spent weeks in Italy, in Slovenia and in Austria and had an amazing summer experiencing different lifestyles and meeting amazing people.

After that I came back to Hungary for my last year of university, besides that I was still babysitting but also had a job in hospitality, i was a bartender/barista in an old stylish coffeeshop/bar.

I graduated in June 2023 from the University.

Looking for shorter-term experiences mostly on Workaway, but who knows, maybe I go somewhere and I won't be able to leave for a long time if we really get along. :)

-taking care of children (in English, Hungarian, German, and Serbo-Croatian) - as I was an Au pair, a kids entertainer in hotels, and a babysitter for different families
-Leading scout groups, organizing events, teaching Hungarian folk songs
-Cooking and baking from different cuisines (only vegetarian and vegan dishes) - skill in veganizing dishes
-working in Restaurants, as a waitress/barista, bartender
- working as a hostess in an interactive science exhibition
-gardening experience at a small company and at workaway hosts
-Hungarian folk dancing for 10 years
- I have a driver's licence
-taking care of / walking 4 dogs

In the past, I`ve been a member of my hometown's local Hungarian scout team, for more than 12 years now, which added a lot to my personality. As an example, it thought me how to be more independent, how to solve different problems *problems that we weren`t learning how to solve in school*, how to work in a team, how to be a good leader, how to organize camps and different events for children, how to be a good person and an idol, and other amazing useful things.
I also danced Hungarian folk dance for 10 years, which gave me a lot of friends and opportunities. I fell in love with the Hungarian traditional dance, clothes, and especially the music, the songs. I sang in Hungarian folk choirs, duets, and also solos, and I still love singing these songs.

A little bit more detailed about my singing past:
I've been singing since I was a child. I started with Hungarian folk songs when I was about 5 years old, Later, as a teenager, I participated in many contests, went to music school, and had different performances at various events. ( for example, a Hungarian rock opera, that we performed in front of 6k people.) Then I started to sing popular songs and performed them in my high school and at events, also started my YouTube channel where I am uploading covers. Feel free to check it out:

  I am a vegetarian, but I prefer to cook vegan dishes, and if possible, to eat vegan dishes in other places as well. ( I am happy to cook vegetarian, or rather vegan dishes for You as well, dear Host!)
