Carpentry and concrete work skills !

Some years ago 'retired' from international corporate job, continued to take care of my own land with forest, and construction of some buildings in Lithuania, I got in love with Portugal and would like to explore it more.

I'm not a professional builder, but during several last years learned a lot in general construction, especially making wooden structures as well concrete work. Of course I love to work in the forest and land as well.

I'm interested to come and share my knowledge by working for people and communities, so I can learn something new in exchange, and of course to enjoy the great places and make new friends.

Beside my passion to work in the forest and skills in logging, cutting and storing the timber, good control of chainsaw and other forestry tools, I have built several log houses, so could share my construction skills, starting from foundations and concrete work to wood joinery (posts, beams, roof joists etc.).

Hard working, extremely good at planning, repetitive tasks and achieving the set goals.

Not picky for accommodation and food.

Worked for couple months as the working guest on cow farm in Norway in 2004, and 3 months as workaway in Cambodia 2017 on guest house construction.

Joao is amazing host, super chilled, but on other hand very enthusiastic and motivated. Communication was very easy, and he took great care of me from the very beginning.
