My name is Vitas and I was born in 1981.
I have a broad experience in construction, hands on, independent and hardworking .

Some years ago 'retired' from international corporate job, continued to take care of my own land & build several houses from own wood, now I would like to explore how is life on the farms in South of Europe for possible partial or permanent relocation in the future.

Now I study in the carpentry school to learn woodwork in a professional way focusing on wood structural work, as I believe good carpentry skills is a must have living on the farm.

At the moment I have several weeks each month out of school to travel and practice and my main interest is to help people with wood work and animals, living on the farm.

Beside my passion to work in the forest and skills in logging, cutting and storing the timber, good control of chainsaw and other forestry tools, I have built several log houses, so could share my construction skills, starting from foundations and concrete work to wood joinery (posts, beams, roof joists etc.).

Hard working, extremely good at planning, repetitive tasks and achieving the set goals.

Not picky for accommodation and food.

Worked for couple months as the working guest on cow farm in Norway in 2004, and 3 months as workaway in Cambodia 2017 on guest house construction.
