We are Dick and Angela, we come from the Netherlands and we live off-grid in Cercal do Alentejo in Portugal. We have a farm of 12 ha with alpacas, chickens , horses, dogs and cats and a small vineyard. We also rent out 3 holiday homes. We live in the middle of nature in a very beautiful and quiet area.
Wij zijn Dick en Angela, we komen uit Nederland en we wonen off-grid in Cercal do Alentejo in Portugal. Wij hebben een boerderij van 12 ha met alpaca's, kippen, paarden, honden en katten en een kleine wijngaard. Tevens verhuren wij 3 vakantiehuisjes. Wij wonen midden in de natuur in een zeer mooie en rustige omgeving.

Quiet area, half an hour from the beach in Porto Covo and Milfontes. If you like peace, nature and the sea, you will soon feel at home here. Our farm is about 7 minutes drive from Cercal do Alentejo. We hope to learn something from both sides. We want to teach them how to handle alpacas. We regard the workawayer as a member of our family.
Rustig gebied, op een half uur van het strand in Porto Covo en Milfontes. Als u van rust, natuur en zee houdt dan zult u zich hier gauw thuis voelen. Onze boerderij is ongeveer 7 minuten rijden van Cercal do Alentejo. Wij hopen van beiden kanten iets te leren. Wij willen ze leren omgaan met alpaca's. De workawayer beschouwen we als lid van onze familie.
Ayuda
We are looking for Workawayers who can help us with the animals and maintenance of the land and general maintenance. We are looking for help with some maintenance and picking grapes for our vineyard. We are also looking for help with making wine. The wine is for private use and not for sale. We rent out holiday homes, but the workawayer will not have to help there. It is purely for the farm and vineyard.
Wij zoeken Workawayers die ons kunnen helpen met de dieren en onderhoud van het land en algemeen onderhoud. Tevens zoeken wij hulp voor onderhoud en plukken van druiven voor onze wijngaard. Ook zoeken we hulp bij het maken van wijn. De wijn is voor prive gebruik en niet om te verkopen. Wij verhuren vakantiehuisjes, maar daar zult de workawayer niet hoeven te helpen. Het is puur voor de boerderij en wijngaard.

You have your own house with a kitchen. WiFi is available. Normally we eat together.
Uw heeft een eigen huisje met een keuken. Wifi is aanwezig. Normaal gesproken eten we gezamenlijk.

Walking in nature, beach. There are cozy restaurants and bars in Milfontes and Porto Covo. In Santiago do Cacem there is a castle and there are Roman excavations.
Wandelen in de natuur, strand. In Milfontes en Porto Covo zijn gezellige restaurantjes en barretjes. In Santiago do Cacem is een kasteel en er zijn Romeinse opgravingen.

There is nature, animals, delicious food, a cosy place to sleep, enjoying time on your own and at the same time enjoying Angela’s and Dick’s company.
They were both very kind with me, work time was in the morning till lunch and after dinner they needed some help with the animals too. I really recommend to go… read more
