Hello there, I am Pedro and I am originally from Brazil but also an Italian citizen. I first left my native country when I was 18 years old and headed for Europe, where I ended up living for for three years. In the old continent, I worked in a few different countries: England, Belgium, Switzerland, Lithuania and Slovenia. At the time, my purpose consisted basically of traveling and working, and I had all sorts of jobs while living that lifestyle. One of those travels was life changing: when I was 19 I hitchhiked from mainland Denmark all the way to Nordkapp, the northernmost point in continental Europe, above the Arctic Circle, it took me almost one month, being on the road pretty much the whole time.

After that, I went back home where I studied Literature, which is still today, one of my greatest passions. I also worked teaching English as a second language for almost eight years. After graduating, I set off on the road again, and this time hitchhiked all the way to the southernmost point in the Americas. Since then, I worked in Argentina, The U.S., Mexico, and Guatemala. I also had the opportunity to improve my Spanish and now am fluent in it as well.

During the COVID years I ended up stranded in Thailand, where I did some volunteering in a resort, then I taught English to monks and ordained as one. That short stopover ended up lasting 2 years. I also lived and worked as a teacher in Vietnam for 1.5 years.

So far, I have been to around 30 countries and worked in ten. I am interested in literature, cinema, philosophy, history, and arts. So I always try to learn as much as possible from the places I visit and people I meet.

Now it`s my first time in Europe after 15 years and I am excited in learning new abilities and developing new skills that will help me in the future, I am not 18 years old anymore haha

I like to contribute with what I know and learn what I still don't. If I am familiar with a certain field I will do my best to learn it and to put it into practice.

My official job at home was teaching English as a second language. I had many hostel-related jobs abroad, which included all kinds of tasks in the business. But besides that, while traveling, I had to: dig holes, paint walls, move furniture, cook, take people out, hand out flyers, do security at events, pour beer, work the register, housekeeping, do dishes, clean up tables, make pizzas, check people in, run pub crawls, lots of cleaning, etc. So "i had to do what I had to do", I guess I am willing to do almost any kind of job :)

Again, I am very interested in culture, particularly Literature, Cinema, History, Geography, Religion, Anthropology, Linguistics, and Philosophy. In the last 4 years, I've had a very serious interest in Buddhism.
