Descripción
I am a recently graduated university student from Jordan, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity. I see this journey as a meaningful cultural exchange rather than just traveling or volunteering. I enjoy living simply, connecting with people, and learning from different cultures, traditions, and ways of life.
I have traveled before and feel very comfortable adapting to new environments, especially calm and natural places. I enjoy quiet routines, reading books, listening to educational podcasts, and spending time reflecting, learning, and growing as a person. I am looking for an experience that allows me to slow down, live mindfully, and balance daily life with self-development.
This trip is also a personal retreat for me — a chance for self-reflection, spiritual growth, and improving my English language skills through daily interaction. I value respect, honesty, and kindness, and I always try to integrate naturally into family life and local communities.
I truly enjoy volunteering, helping others, and giving back wherever I am. I believe in positive energy, cultural exchange, and building genuine human connections. I am open-minded, respectful, and grateful for any experience that allows mutual learning and shared daily life.
Recently, I had the opportunity to volunteer in Malaysia, where I stayed and worked in two different places, each offering a unique and meaningful experience.
My first placement was at Min House Camp in Kota Bharu, where I worked on building a raised bed garden and learned how to prepare and use organic compost. I also participated in planting and maintaining different types of plants. This experience helped me understand sustainable living practices and develop patience while working with nature.
My second placement was in a small village in Janda Baik, where I was involved in several hands-on projects. I helped build a partition wall between two rooms and worked on creating a river stone pathway using stones collected directly from a nearby river.
In addition, I explored the surrounding jungle and collaborated with a Russian volunteer who has strong experience in forest environments. I learned a lot from him while we worked together to design and improve a walking trail suitable for visitors. We focused on making the path safe, natural, and easy to follow.
I also contributed to creating a digital map of the area, along with a small guidebook describing local wildlife, including animals, insects, trees, and birds.
Alongside these projects, I was actively involved in daily tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and supporting the overall environment.
These experiences were deeply meaningful to me, as they allowed me to live simply, connect with nature, and contribute in a practical way. They also improved my communication skills, strengthened my adaptability, and gave me real insight into community-based living.
I am comfortable with physical work, outdoor environments, and taking initiative when needed

Que habilidades tienes?
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity and I am highly professional in my field. I have created and published a cybersecurity course on the American platform Udemy, and I currently work remotely with a Canadian company, where I teach and support learners in cybersecurity topics.
During my university studies, I volunteered with IEEE for three years, where I worked on multiple hands-on and practical projects. I also designed, built, and supervised a full cybersecurity competition, which was considered unique at the national level in Jordan. Additionally, I was part of the team that founded and officially launched IEEE branches at Zarqa University, gaining strong leadership, teamwork, and organizational experience.
I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and I am trained in TOT (Training of Trainers). This allows me to speak confidently in public, teach, present, facilitate discussions, and communicate clearly with people from different cultural backgrounds.
I am responsible, organized, and reliable. I am happy to help with daily tasks such as cooking, organizing, supporting family life, helping with guests, or learning new practical skills. I am flexible, eager to learn, and always try to contribute positively and respectfully wherever I stay.
