Hi! My name is Nathalie, I’m 21 years old and I live in the Netherlands.

This year, I’m taking a gap year from my studies in Psychomotor Therapy (PMT). I still have one more year to complete before I receive my diploma.

Psychomotor Therapy focuses on helping people with mental health challenges through movement and physical activities. I really enjoy working with people, whether they’re children or elderly.

I’ve always loved meeting new people and learning about different cultures. Traveling to new countries and experiencing the world from different perspectives is something I truly enjoy. And i am looking forward to travelling in my gap year.

I also love being active and spending time in nature. It gives me energy and makes me feel happy and relaxed.

Que habilidades tienes?

I have experience in different types of volunteer work, such as organizing game nights for young people and planning activities for people with acquired brain injuries. During my internships, I worked with elderly people as well as children with ADHD, autism, or other challenges, which taught me to be patient, flexible, and understanding.

I love being around animals. I used to ride horses and at home I have two rabbits and two cats. I also enjoy cooking, especially when I have the time to try new recipes, and I would love to learn to cook traditional dishes from other cultures.

Working with children gives me a lot of energy. I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing games. I also have experience with cleaning work and don’t mind helping with practical tasks around the house or garden.

I would describe myself as enthusiastic, social, reliable, caring, and creative. For me, a Workaway experience is about meeting new people, learning about different cultures, exploring nature, and finding adventure. I’d especially love to help with projects involving children or young people, being outdoors, and speaking English while sharing fun and active experiences together.

I love playing games, especially Perudo and Ticket to Ride. But i am always open for new games, who would like to learn me a new one?

I also enjoy being active and trying new outdoor sports. I can’t really choose just one, but at the moment I mostly do running, cycling, and bouldering (climbing).
