    Hey everybody!
We’re Sam (32, from England) and Nadja (26, from Germany). 😊

We’re a couple who loves exploring the world and connecting with people from different cultures—whether through shared work, daily life, or long conversations over tea. For us, the real magic of travel happens when we spend time with locals rather than just passing through the usual sights. Those deeper encounters give us a chance to understand new ways of living and exchange stories that stay with us.

Our most recent journey brought us to Australia where Sam was for two years and Nadja for 1.5years. We both lived and worked Seasons in the Kimberley for a good portion of our time which is a region of Northern Western Australia - Being in such a remote area in the outback for so long was unforgettable; we’re both happiest close to nature, and our curiosity about animals and plants only grew stronger there.
In-between seasons, we travelled from coast to coast, starting in Queensland, then to Western Australia, Southern and back to the east. Filling our days with exploration either by sea or land, we were particularly fond of snorkelling, and discovering Australia’s incredible underwater world. Once we wrapped up that chapter, we stayed with an Australian family 3hours west of Brisbane helping them with some personal projects and care for their land and home. We then returned to our families in England and Germany, and now we’re excited to plan our next adventure. This time, we’re hoping to explore Southeast Asia and New Zealand. We’re completely open when it comes to the exact destination—we’re more interested in meaningful experiences and wonderful hosts than in sticking to a strict route.
When it comes to skills its always difficult to write about yourselves so we would be more than happy to answer any questions you have, but Sam loves working with his hands just as much as his mind and Nadja enjoys doing things with purpose.

We’d love to hear from you if you feel we’d be a good fit. We’re especially interested in work with animals, NGOs, and community projects. We’ve already had great experiences with Workaway hosts, including families, and we’re eager to continue contributing, learning, and connecting.

Looking forward to meeting you! 🌿✨

  • Algo más...

We are both really open people who travelled to many different countries. Our goal is not only to see the country but also to connect with the people who live there and learn from them. This is why we decided after travelling for two years through Australia to offer our workforce on workaway now in New Zealand and hopefully find a nice stay and new friends :)
