Descripción
We are a couple in our 60’s with two adult children, Anna 29 is currently living in Townsville , Harry 25 is in the army and is currently in qld training to be a helicopter mechanic. Kate is a registered nurse and works at a girls' boarding school in Toowoomba, Simon is a draftsman and also travels to Toowoomba to work as well as being the local fire station captain.
Kate was born in the UK but has lived in Australia since she was a child, she enjoys cooking and hospitality, bakes her own sourdough bread and loves to entertain.
We love a wine and a chat and have travelled ourselves so take an interest in other cultures.
We have one little dog Lulu and six chickens . -

We enjoy being around young people and have lots of friends locally with young adult children so you would have an active social life with us and get to meet aussies and immerse yourself in our culture. We are in a rural farming community, there are fields of sunflowers in summer and wheat in winter, it's quiet and peaceful.

We live in a lovely old home in a small town in country Queensland. We would love someone to help out with household tasks and gardening, we are often taking on renovation projects in our home so, if you have skills or interests in that area that would be welcome.

Granny flat style accomodation, away from the main house with a queen bed and your own bathroom, there is a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle, sandwich press and hotplate. Would suit a single or couple.

We are 2 hours from Brisbane, 3 hours from the Gold Coast, 50 mins from Toowoomba - there isn't much public transport so you would need a vehicle. There are national parks within an hours drive with beautiful hikes and camping areas, the Granite belt wine region is less than 2 hours away. Our little town has a 25 metre pool, tennis courts, 3 pubs (walking distance) and some cafe's. Nobby is 5 mins away and is a historical area with an iconic hotel.
