Hello future host :)

My name is Molly, I am 26 years old and come from Sydney, Australia.

I studied animation and film at university and graduated with a BA (Film) in 2020 after changing uni once or twice. Since then, I have worked in film production in various positions - in casting, pitch and treatment writing, production, as a producer at an environmental film company, and on-set for various feature films. I have experience in marketing, writing (copy + fiction) and in filmmaking/

I left Sydney at the end of February and am travelling through Europe for the next 4-6 months, working on farms or with families, spending time outside and learning new things and skills from people. I eventually hope to return to Aus in late 2024 and pursue post-grad study.

I believe myself to be warm, enthusiastic and hardworking! I am most happy when I am challenging myself and learning new things. My previous workaway was helping with childcare in Italy and I am currently wwoofing on an organic dairy farm in the UK.

I have wide interests so I would be happy anywhere, from a farm stay/harvesting, animal care and DIY projects. I am creative as much as I enjoy physical labour, and will adapt quickly and enthusiastically to what you can teach me :) I would love to learn about your life, culture, ways of living, and in return you will get a warm, friendly, and motivated worker!

I love walking and hiking, swimming, yoga, politics. I am a reader - books were my love before film - and love sharing and talking to people about their own interests. I care deeply about the environment and the natural world and am fascinated by our relationship with it.

Que habilidades tienes?

Usually I have worked in film, so my skills in this area are writing, photography and filming, group work and project management.

I have strong written skills and am familiar with advertising/marketing across social media and would be happy to assist with any content creation and strategy if that takes anyone's fancy.

I am comfortable working in the following areas:
- childcare
- physical and manual labour (while film work is different, I am used to long days and the team work needed to complete projects)
- basic gardening
- cooking and cleaning
- experience and comfort with animals (mostly from my own pets and dogs, and from riding horses in my childhood)
- knitting and sewing

I am extremely eager to learn new things and am committed to doing every job to the best of my ability. And with a smile on my face. I love animals and am dedicated to their wellbeing in, and I am unafraid of physical work.

I love films and reading, and always love sharing these things with others. I am developing more of an interest in history and archeology, and have recently come to love Italian literature and cinema.

I've also been working on a dairy farm, so am extremely comfortable with large animals and livestock.
