Hi!

We are Mariana & Jorge,

We are Brazilians and this year we started traveling looking for opportunities to meet new places, new people, new cultures, other job possibilities and to get to know ourselves better in this process!

Let's introduce ourselves:

Mariana
I was born in Limeira, in the interior of southeastern Brazil, where I grew up in contact with nature and where I had daily contact, mainly with the care of horses (mounting, bathing, cleaning stables and stalls), an environment that allowed me to cultivate my great passion. by animals, by nature.
When I went to college I had the opportunity to participate in several university extension projects, which brought the university environment closer to the community, and among them, one of the most significant and enriching was being part of an agroecological consumption group where I could be close to the work of social movements that fight for food autonomy and agrarian reform and learning about family farming, agroecology (both about this type of cultivation through immersions and workshops, and about a new perspective of consumption and commercialization of products), which opened my eyes to the power of community work and the need to rethink our ways of producing and consuming.

Jorge
I was born and raised on a farm in the middle of the Amazon rainforest, on the banks of the Xingu river, here I learned the daily work with cows, horses, corn planting and reforestation with native species of the region. For our consumption we always produce vegetable gardens and various fruits. In the maintenance of the house, the repairs, painting and construction of some furniture for the house, barn and stables were all done by ourselves.
I started undergraduate courses in computer engineering and applied mathematics, here I learned a lot about technologies and their applications and had extensive contact with one of my great passions - educating children, adolescents and adults in mathematics, physics, programming, 3D modeling and robotics.
