I am a farm girl, I love working outdoors, doing farm work, working with farm animals, gardening, and other yard work or odd jobs. I also enjoy cooking. In my free time I am most likely to go be doing something active like hiking, camping, or listening to a good book. I also love to travel and explore new places.

My experience is mainly agriculture related: I have an undergraduate degree in agriculture and a master's in regenerative sustainability.
I have a lot of experience from hands on farm work to professional consulting work in agriculture, conservation projects, and sustainability.

For hands on work, I am good with vegetable gardening, livestock husbandry (especially sheep, but I have worked with cows, pigs, chickens too), I can milk a cow by hand, and I can drive tractors and other basic farm equipment. My preferred farm work is working with animals and gardening but I like variety at the same time. I am practical and would be able to do some basic maintenance on machinery too (changing tires, changing oil, air filters, greasing equipment, etc.).
I'm interested in regenerative agriculture and I would love the chance to learn more through working in a regenerative farming system.
I also know about permaculture principles and would love an opportunity to get a bit more hands on experience. I have created food forestry plans but never worked in a real food forest.
I've also done vegetation management plans, rangeland health assessments and other agrology related projects like those. I thrive outdoors, and love to learn by doing hands on work.
That being said, I am also a decent cook and I really enjoy baking.
Having variety in my work and life is what I love, which means I'm open to a mix of everything.
