Hi everyone!

We are Karolina and Luigi, a polish-italian couple that met in South Spain 5 years ago. We quickly realised we are both passionate about discovering the world and decided to make the most out of it.

Ever since we’ve been travelling, living and working in different places in the world, from sunny coasts with over 30°C to winter wonderlands with -30°C.

⋙ April 2025: We just finished an amazing workaway experience in a Dive Center in Panama and now we're traveling and exploring Colombia looking for our next workaway adventure. ⋘

We have experience in hospitality, tourism and customer service. For the last few years we’ve been working for a travel agency that has customers all around the world. As part of our job we would travel to the most beautiful places, we were lucky to live on the Spanish island of Mallorca, Finnish Lapland in the Arctic Circle and Riviera Maya in Mexico. We loved working with different nationalities and we have so many stories to share!

We’re both open minded people that care about others and want everyone to have a good time. We really enjoy getting to know new places, spending hours on roadtrips, discovering new cultures, trying the most delicious types of food and the best is to share it all with people we meet along the way. Workaway seems to be the perfect place to find all this :)

We both love animals, nature and anything related to water. Our biggest passion is definitely snorkelling and scuba diving. We're both PADI Advanced Open Water and Enriched Air certified with over 50 dives logged. We would love to dive in new places around the world, get more experience and connect with people that share our passion!

Que habilidades tienes?

Karolina: I finished my masters in marketing and management so I feel good in the social media and marketing side of business. I’ve done university exchange twice and I spent over a year in Spain. I love how thanks to that I became even more curious about the world and different cultures. I have experience in coordination of trainings, preparing training materials, managing social media, writing content for websites, doing any administrative tasks and communicating with clients.
I’m definitely a quick learner, passionate about what I do and happy to apply my knowledge to different environments. I’m interested in photography and editing and I’m always open to trying something new.

Luigi: My first experience with Workaway was right after finishing high school, volunteering in a hostel in Sevilla, Spain. I've been a volunteer for a few months, then started working as a receptionist and ended up becoming the Hostel Manager. During the 2 years I've spent there I did a little bit of everything like cleaning, night shifts, bar shifts, pub crawls, reception tasks, selling, legal contracts, finding and training new volunteers, managing different booking websites, taking care of availability and prices, and obviously one of the most important parts: meeting and getting to know all of the guests making sure they're having a great time!
I'm a people person, I'm really positive and really chill, I work well under pressure and I’m interested in learning new skills.


Since we are together we gained experience in:

► Housekeeping (ski resort job in Sweden):
- Cleaning
- Checking the quality
- Preparing the accommodations and public areas
- Inventories

► Customer service (travel agency representatives):
- Promoting and selling excursions
- Problem solving and handling complaints
- Guiding excursions
- Doing information meetings about destinations
- Advising and assisting guests during their holiday
- Visiting different hotels to meet with guests

► Dive Center assistant (workaway experience in Panama):
- Helping out in the Dive Center
- Cleaning, washing, organizing and carrying the dive gear
- Welcoming guests, helping in fitting the correct gear, selling and promoting dive trips and/or courses
- Loading and unloading the boat

Karolina: fluent in Polish and English, intermediate level of Spanish.
Luigi: fluent in Italian, English and Spanish.

We both have driving licences.

We are a solid couple and we really enjoy our company, at the same time we are people persons and we love spending time with people who share similar values and interests. We have fun going to the beach with some friends and music, spending an evening out or playing for hours different board games and cards. We can’t wait to dive into the experiences that Workaway offers and create some long lasting memories on this journey :)
