Hey there, thx for reading. I am Uros. Solo traveler@chapter autumn/winter 2024

In short - I'm quite a versátil guy, open minded, I tend to thrive around kind & positive relaxed humans. I love to learn from people, and to bring fresh new perspective. I consider myself self aware, hard working, strong & fit physically. Integrity is an important value for me. Adventurous spirit. I Iive a natural clean simple lifestyle. Usually positive minded with few imperfections of course. Kindness , patience and energy reciprocity goes a long way, imho.
I would be up for a audio/video call before the final set agreement between the workawayer and the host. So we ride on claridade and good comunicação.


Bio/History:
2016 - Bosnia and Herzegovina, all year living near Mostar, studying botany, mostly doing organic gardening, phytotherapy, arometherapy. Selling top quality natural toothpaste.

2017 - 2022 Portugal, lot of experience in outdoors activity, living on a off grid property in the southwest Algarve. Planting trees, cutting trees, implementing edible landscape design, similar to permaculture perspective. Survived fire, and joined land restoration project with other eco oriented peers and friends, in the larger community area. SW Algarve
Worked on several occasions in beautiful high level retreat center, Helping chef´s in the kitchen, with food prep, mostly plant based.

2023 - moved to capital of Croatia, Zagreb. I was Working half year in the best Organic Food store - called Bio&Bio. Great experience. Challenging myself into city dwelling after years of natural remote forest living. Quite a intense social service based experience.

I've been working in one of the adventure agencies. Finding myself in this new role of leading guided tours near natural park Cape Kamenjak (southern tip of Istria), as natural as fish in the water. Thrilled honestly, as I am goofy and animator in my core. Excelling at providing fun adventure based experience for the clients and guests, mostly tourists.
We were doing Water sports mostly, like SUP and Kayak&Cave diving tours, as well as e-scooter, mtb, e-bike, and buggy tours.

2024 - comercial representative at Altantic Trade corporation [Cro], making 5000km per month. Iveco Vanlife, taking care of the orders on gas stations, deliveries, etc. Taking new responsabilities.

To share and to give?
Good organizations and communication skills. I Can use wild plants and herbs in a different unique way, making meals more savory and medicinal at times.
Also Worked in agriculture, organic small scale, mostly, but also those classic fields back in Croatia. I know food production from all angles. How to recognize quality in plant life.

After 2023, definitely I am feeling ready to guide adventure tours, or working in retreat centers, water sports rentals, etc.

In Portugal I had my own self employed biz; general gardening and maintenance, so plenty of knowledge there to share. Orchard maintenance, water irrigation system.
Actively used permaculture design on my land in the drylands of SW Portugal.
I can offer Health oriented advice, and consultations to average individuals, if in need.

Languages I can handle pretty good. I could teach English as that is where I am best and most fluent, besides my mother tongue Croatian. Then Portuguese I know pretty good, can teach that a bit, sure. Spanish and Italian I understand quite solid.

In advanced carpentry skills & building - YES, but only under your supervision am I able to help.
As usually I do enjoy physical intense tasks, that move the body, especially outdoors.

I have done workshops about medicinal plants, wild edibles weeds;
Including traditional european herbalism. Also doing occasional consultation based on lifestyle change, power of eating more simple rejuvenating whole plant foods.
Worked in PT for a small local company that does indoor mushroom operation.

To receive?
I Would love to be surrounded with creative, compassionate, honest and authentic folks. I handle well alone time, as much as joint operations like solid teamwork, team-vibe and that kind of creative tribe.
What am I looking for in General as of end off 2022, December onward? Something where I can express my uniqueness, contribute, being seen and appreciated.
Can be family setting with teaching language, can be family farm, or a community project either social in the town or nature farm based. Level up my skills in water sports field, like kite surfing, wing foil, and wave surfing. Stoked on learning new..

Also I am very keen on meeting and getting to know new people, and enjoy hostel environment, as I learn super fast, in positive constructive practical environment.

I could write on the computer, anything from short office work to lengthy novel like letters if you need that as you can see ;)
At one point I was writing herbalist articles for a local magazine in english.

And for all you astrology geeks: I´m a sagitarius sun, ascendente sagg, with moon in Aquarius. Therefore fire, high energy, sparkly fun personality, independiente. Yet I need my alone time too.

refined carbs/fatty refined foods - no
Meals - flexitarian; but best if vegan or vegetarian. Presence of Raw Fruits n Vegg - if I am to be at my optimal life force.
Also I can prep food, no worries.
