Haaay we are Bart and Ietje, 35 and 36 years old and live in Zeist, the Netherlands. Looking forward to our new big trip in Central America in november 2023.

Ietje: I think I can be pretty energetic, open to discover new things, meeting new people, very interested in all kinds of movements and sports. I think you can see a lot only by watching people move. Those are things I also use in my work as a psychomotor therapist.
I like to be in groups and have people around me but I can really relax and feel stillness when I am alone too. I think I need a good mix of together and alone time.
When I am traveling I discover new things about myself because in a very fun loving, adventurous way, I just have to let my patterns back home. Love to see more of this beautiful earth!

Bart: My name is Bart and the plan is to travel with my girlfriend for four months in Central America. I am easy going and positive person. I like to be active and preferably outside as much as possible. In the summer I love to swim, going into the woods with my mountainbike or ride my motorcycle. In addition to all these/this activities, I also love to read, doing yoga and practice meditation. I think it's important to have a balance between the two. I already have seen a lot of Europe, a part of Asia and a very small part of Africa. I’m looking forward going to Central America, to admire the beautiful nature there and to be part of a different culture.

Ietje: Professional experience
I work as a Psychomotor Therapist in psychiatry with people with personality disorders. It s a experience en body focused therapy. We use the body to brake patters and starting to learn to feel more safe. All kinds of relaxation execises and breathwork.

I am social, can work with kids, I love animals as long as they are a little bit sweet for me too.

Work in the garden is what I would love to do, being outside in nature, love plants, love growing fruits and vegetables

Working in the kitchen, and helping in the house and around

Bart: Professional experience
I work as a nurse in a Emergency Room. I enjoy working with people, help them and sometimes helping them in acute situations. This way you can really mean something to the other.

In addition, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I like to cook tasty and healthy meals, mostly vegetarian. Because I often work irregularly, I often make large quantities.

I grew up with horse riding. I love being in nature and feel comfortable among the animals.
