I am a hard working, sociable and vibrant young woman from the UK and i enjoy meeting people from all over the world and working with them along the way. I love Workaway and have previously had some great experiences working with others in Guatemala, Malawi, New Zealand, Australia, India, Borneo, Canada and Thailand and have travelled in many other countries also.

I am positive and very adaptable. I have worked in many situations and in a range of different environments over the past few years both professionally and as a volunteer. I can work with most types of people and am keen to learn new skills along the way. I have worked on hostel reception, with NGO's in international development, cleaning and laundry at hostels, in cafe's and restaurants, in finance positions, tourism, administration and at call centres. I completed a TEFl certificate and would enjoy teaching experience wherever possible. I have a lot of experience working with people and would enjoy hostel, bar or restaurant work. I also love the outdoors and keeping healthy- I hike a lot, do yoga and am keen to get stuck in doing gardening and planting work. I have previously had great experiences doing building/ gardening Workaway placements in Borneo and Thailand and looking after goats in Nova Scotia and British Columbia. I love meeting people and want to see as much of the world as possible!

Had a fantastic and relaxing time here. Jeff is a kind and thoughtful host and doesn't ask too much of workawayers. The hostel is in a beautiful natural location and the common area is very cosy in the evenings. A lovely opportunity to experience the icefields parkway. Thank you for having me Jeff!

I loved my time here, Ed, Anja, Adrian and Daniella were very welcoming and easy going. I stayed in the cute apartment above the office and enjoyed relaxing and taking the kayak out a couple of times while I was there. I had a wonderful ten day stay here and this lovely hostel very quickly felt like home. Bob and Nancy are welcoming, kind people and I enjoyed the company of the other workawayers and the awesome guests! The cleaning work was very manageable and relaxed and I had plenty of time to see the local area. I will miss it here!
