hey :)
I am fia, a pretty spontanious and easy going but straightforward person who doesn't take herself too serious.
Living in foreign counties for a few months and getting to know the way of doing things there is fascinating to me. So I'm eager to learn the local customs wherever I go.

Spending time in nature or cultural/artsy locations and discover new, beautiful places or weird little details is what i like most about travelling. And of course all the interesting people i meet.

I am a social worker and during my studies I was able to spend 7 months in Lima, Peru. There I worked with socioeconaomical disadventaged kids and teenagers at an artistic youth center. Later I had the pleasure to endure -28C° during my Erasmus semester in Finland. Pretty sure I can survive anything now. ;)

In my last job i took care of teenagers and young adults with mental illnesses and (learing) disabilities. I also worked at a residential home for adults with autism.
While travelling, i worked in hostels as night shift, cleaning shift and bar shift. I also gave lessons on conversational english to kids.

Que habilidades tienes?

- For me it is super exciting to learn new things and I usually catch on quite quick.
- I am decent at any artistic activities and craftsmanships (I've done knitting, drawing, whittling, upcycling, various DIYs and other things).
One of my most beloved and most hated hobbies is sewing (hand and machine). I can do adjustments, upcycling and create from scratch.
- Basketball was my passion for 10 years and more recently I've tried many other sports like bouldering, dancing, swimming, inline skating ect.
- Growing up on the countryside I've learned to help my parents with everything that needs to be done. I learned to "see" work.
- At home I'm in charge for painting walls and windows - not a pro but doing a decent job here
