Hi! We’re Bruno and Valentina, a newly engaged couple with a deep love for cultural exchange, meaningful connection, and hands-on ways of living.

We live fairly normal day-to-day lives, but what truly lights us up is stepping out of routine and into environments that challenge us, teach us new skills, and allow us to connect deeply with people and place. For us, travel isn’t about ticking off destinations, it’s about learning how others live, sharing what we know, and becoming part of a community, even if only for a short while.

Bruno works as a financial advisor and has a strong analytical mind, paired with a natural curiosity about how systems (financial, social, and natural) really work. He’s practical, adaptable, enjoys problem-solving, and brings a calm, grounded presence.
Valentina (or Tina) is a doula and coach who thrives on connection, creativity, and nature. She’s drawn to holistic living, movement, wellness practices, and creating warm, nurturing spaces where people feel at ease.

Together, we balance each other well: practical and intuitive, adventurous and grounded. Over the past few years, we’ve traveled extensively, explored different cultures, created natural products, participated in community events, and learned through direct experience rather than comfort.

As we prepare for the next chapter of our lives, marriage and eventually starting a family, we feel called to immerse ourselves more deeply in environments that reflect the values we want to build our future on: cooperation, simplicity, shared responsibility, and cultural exchange. Workaway feels like a beautiful opportunity to contribute meaningfully, learn new ways of living, and form genuine human connections along the way.
