Hi! My name is Anabel, I’m from germany and stoked for my next surf adventure!

After spending several months working in a surf camp in Portugal, I’m excited to experience a new place, meet new people, and continue living the surf lifestyle. Before Portugal, I spent almost a year in Australia, where I first fell in love with surfing. Since returning to Germany, I’ve been working a few different jobs, but I can’t wait to get back to the ocean. Surfing has become a huge part of my life, and I’d love to keep improving while being surrounded by like-minded people.

My friends in Portugal would probably describe me as a „clumsy sunshine“, someone who’s always smiling, full of energy and happy to help. I need music to survive and can never resist singing along to my favourite songs.
I genuinely enjoy bringing people together and creating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.

Working in a surf camp has confirmed that this is exactly the kind of environment I thrive in. During my time in Portugal, I helped with housekeeping, preparing breakfast, keeping the camp clean and organised, and organising activities for the guests. It was great to be part of an international team and meet travellers from all over the world!

Before that, I worked at Zambrero in Australia, where I gained valuable experience in hospitality, customer service, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Earlier, I also worked as a riding instructor and as a cashier at a public swimming pool in Germany.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned through travelling is how to adapt quickly and step outside my comfort zone. Every place has taught me something new, and I’m excited to continue growing and meet cool people! :)
