Hi we are Alessandra and Flavio, an openminded, handy and easygoing couple from Italy.
We consider ouselves as part of the whole universe, our aim is to leave the world better as we found it, and in the meanwhile to experience the most from the world around us, and from the people we meet. We are used to make unconventional choices, i.e. we left with our camping-car in November 2019, to travel around Europe and Morocco for several months. We were prepared to work on board as digital nomads, as well as to do travel-schooling to our kids, but the pandemic situation forced us to change our basic plans, and to stay 5 months in lockdown in Morocco. We learnt so much from this experience, that since then, we strive to find new situations in which we can give our contribution, while we get to learn new people, different lifestyles, and possibly improve ourselves.
In 2021 we had a fantastic Workaway experience in France, Auvergne, at Chateau de Luc, where we helped with the renovation and general maintenance, as well as electrical and plumbing repairs, window and door maintenance, gardening, and various other practical tasks.
Now that the kids have grown up, and go traveling theirselves, we would enjoy continue sharing experiences with likeminded people. We can travel and be selfsufficient in our Camping-car or find different accomodation solutions, depending on the hosts availability.

Alessandra and Flavio have raised three children (Irene, who now is 26, Luca 14 and Martina 12).
Alessandra has been working for years as executive assistant and office manager, she has been also a yoga instructor and has studied foreign languages and paedagogy.
She enjoys:

- pets caring
- driving (car, van, camping-car, motorbike)
- painting (watercolour)
- taking photographs
- helping in basic works for house maintenance
- housekeeping
- cooking
- basic gardening (flowers, fruits, vegetable garden)
- homeschooling
- guitar playing
- yoga practicing
- nature hiking

Flavio is an informatic engineer and an entrepreneur; he enjoys
- any manual activity
- driving (car, van, camping-car, motorbike)
- gardening
- whatever could be helpful for the community
- basic maintenance jobs could be needed, such as: plumber, electicity, carpentry, mechanic
- happy to learn any new skill

When traveling, we are able to have our own accomodation, with our camping-car.
We both love skying, we enjoy cycling and hiking; Flavio is an advanced water diver, as well as a skydiver and tennis player ... all these activities are practiced in the free time, as amateur. He is also a passionate of collecting, puzzle making, and model making.
Oh by the way, we also own a drone, which enables us to take stunning pictures and videos of the surrounding areas we visit.
