Hello! I am Victoria Navarro Armanet, I am Chilean and I am 22 years old. I am studying psychology where I have the last year left to graduate. I am the youngest sister of 5 siblings, so I already have nieces and a nephew, and they are the most important thing to me. I love being with my family and my friends and going out. I love interacting with people, traveling, active life, mental health. I really like sharing, getting to know new places and people. I adore children and that is why I have a lot of experience doing baby sitter

I am in Workaway because I really want to learn, meet people and their culture. Also I want to improve my English. I also believe that it is an alternative that complements my lifestyle, since I like to have an active life, to be able to travel, see new places, make plans, but always be adapting to what can be done, dialoguing and finding a consensus with the alternatives of the others.
My passion is nature and travel. I have been a scout from the age of 12 to the present, now I am the responsible adult, I am in charge with other adults of a scout group made up of 100 adolescent girls from 12 to 15 years old. This is one of the most important aspects, since scouting has marked my life, shaping great traits of my personality, learning a lot about service, teamwork, simplicity, maturity, simplicity, adventure, caring for the environment, leadership. In fact, I will participate in the Jamboree 2023 held in South Korea, it is an event organized worldwide where all the scouts of the world meet, for me it is a very important event not only for the entertainment but also for the responsibility and commitment that it implies since I have teenagers in my care and that is also an opportunity to give back.
In addition to this I love having a good conversation and being able to connect. In these times where we live in such a hurry, I think that taking the time to talk is one of the simplest and most important things. I like my area of ​​study as it relates to wellness and mental health, also history and psychology.
I am very excited to get to know Canada, especially Toronto. I have researched the city since I am interested in its urbanization, care for the environment, quality of life, its history. In addition, as I mentioned and closely related to the fact that I like nature, I have seen that there are places and natural parks.

I am at the University studying Psychology, I really like what I am studying, I would like to specify the area of infant and adolescent, since I get along very well with children and adolescents and it is a stage that I consider essential for development. Also this year I wanted to learn from other cultures and enrich myself in another way to finish my last year of studies.
From my work experience, she was a baby sitter 8 years ago, since at the beginning they were known people such as my cousins, nieces and relatives, but now I have a large contact network due to my experience and other types of work as well as recommendations.
I have given classes to children between the ages of 6 and 16 helping them with their homework, subjects that need support and study habits, also to improve their reading, to younger children in a pandemic, they learned to read after a process and it was very nice.
I am good at organizing things, I have a good disposition, I am hardworking, responsible, proactive, I love interacting with people. I have worked in several stores as a packer, I have also worked as a salesperson, I have also been a waitress, I have integrated staff to organize youth events and parties. I organized and carried out a Christmas workshop for children. In the year I perform baby sitter and waitress in marriages. Before coming, I worked at a school in charge of extracurricular activities and in charge of volunteering.

I love sharing with people, taking walks, watching movies, having a drink, sharing a deep conversation, playing board games with the family, going around and receiving comments about the beautiful places to visit.
I like to read, even though I have now put it aside, no matter how much I read (about psychology.) I like to paint and cook.
