Hi, I'm Ying :)

I am passionate about nature and wildlife and have travelled to more than 20 national parks or reserves in 5 continents. Painting and photography also bring joy to my daily life and I enjoy photographing people, landscapes and all kinds of wildlife, as well as watercolouring plants and birds.

I am interested in any part of the world, especially some villages and protected areas. I enjoy the outdoors, camping, hiking, climbing, scuba diving and kayaking. I also enjoy cooking Chinese food and am currently learning more about other countries' cuisines!

My availability is from 25 November to 5 January 2023 and I would like to have two weeks to change accommodation.

Que habilidades tienes?

1. Education: I'm an MSc student at University of Copenhagen, working on a nature management program. I studied Landscape Architecture as an undergraduate.

2. Photograph: PS, Lightroom. I sell photos on a website and have worked part-time taking photos of events and people, as well as photographing menus for restaurants. Sonya7r3 24-105mm, 200-600mm, 70mm.

3. Filming videos: I've done internships editing and filming short videos for eco-travel companies and running video accounts.

4. Expertise in ecology/ biology: My thesis is about bird-plant mutualism networks in the Lesser Antilles. I have done 6 field works, having spent a month in the plateau at 4,000 or 5,000m altitude and 4 months in Central America. I know the basic methods of plant and animal sampling as well as the basic data analiysis. I have participated in writing and publishing 3 public science books in Chinese and am currently illustrating a book for a national park.

5. Designing: I can use PS and other design software, so I can do some simple poster design.

6. Cooking/ Serving: I have been working in restaurants for 2 years. Working as a server in the first restaurant, and working in the kitchen in the current restaurant.

7. Birdwatching: I am a member of the Beijing Birders Team and I have worked part-time and volunteered to give lectures and to go birding with people.

8. Others: R, common used office software, CAD…
