Howdy! This is Talon and Sarah, an adventurous couple eager to expand our horizons and travel!

"Hello! My name is Talon and I was born and raised in Oshkosh Wisconsin. I decided to drop my temporary job spree in the United States to look for experiences around the world before settling on a career. I enjoy hands-on learning experiences, physical labor, and working with / troubleshooting technology, but I am open to many other forms of work! I love little critters like birds, snakes, and especially bugs!

Hey, my name is Sarah! I am a recent English graduate who has a creative fervor for the arts, reading, writing, crafting, et cetera. Despite being a new traveler, I am open-minded, respectful, hard-working, and hope to gain many valuable and novel experiences at home and abroad through Workaways. I grew-up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and have previous job experience as an educational tutor, magazine editor, and a former founder and president of an on-campus activist club."

Que habilidades tienes?

The skills I gained from jobs in the U.S. varied all the way from handling money and maintaining good customer service working as a cashier, to firefighting techniques and fuels reduction working as a wildland firefighter for the United States Forest Service. I have experience working as an IT intern for my local school district, helping fix and install software on computers, and also as a janitor in the same district, cleaning and sanitizing schools. I enjoyed working as security for EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association), directing traffic and checking vehicle access credentials. I have plenty of experience in factories and warehouses, but I mostly only enjoyed the labor aspect, not the environment. Long story short: I have spent plenty of time experiencing the U.S. and want to expand my knowledge elsewhere!

I enjoy tabletop / board games, hiking, camping, crabbing, clamming. I love to dabble into different hobbies / skills I am interested in like building computers, forging, welding, hunting, fishing, and working on vehicles!
