My name is Stella and I'm from Germany. I am 20 years old and graduated from school last year. Currently, I am taking a gap year to work, travel and to gain new experiences.

Meeting new people and exploring new places while traveling brings me much joy and is such a great way to grow and discover different ways of living.

Becoming part of a host family is a great opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and embark on a new adventure, learning more about different cultures and traditions.

I really enjoy spending time with children and have gained experience through my first workaway stay in the UK and my previous job as a babysitter.
I am also happy to assist with any kind of house tasks while staying with the host family and also willing to try new tasks.
Being an open and warm-hearted person, I love brightening the atmosphere and making others smile.

I spend a major part of my free time playing violin and piano and find joy in participating in various projects and concerts, including performing with an classical orchestra and playing with my string quartet. In addition to music, I enjoy cooking, baking and staying active through sports, such as going to the gym or doing yoga. Recently, I have taken up knitting and am excited to explore this new hobby :)

I learned all the important tasks in managing a household such as cleaning, doing laundry, cooking and baking
During my time as a babysitter, I gained experience in caring for children and also provided recorder lessons for one of the kids.
As a member of an orchestra, I am used to collaborating with others, being flexible, and working diligently.
In orchestra, in my string quartet and in church, I have also taken on organizational roles, which can translate well into managing household responsibilities.

I would be delighted to contribute musically to the family and share my knowledge with the children if wanted :)
