Hi! We’re Julie and Sarah, a couple who have been on a sabbatical since last June.

The idea behind taking this break was simple: we wanted to slow down, step away from our usual routines, and take some time to reflect on our professional lives and what we really want for the future.

We started our journey in Ireland and Scotland, two destinations where nature played a huge part. It was exactly what we needed to disconnect, breathe, and gradually step away from our everyday routine.

But now, we’re ready for a new kind of adventure.

We want to travel differently — not just to discover new places, but to share experiences, meet new people, learn new skills, and challenge ourselves. We’re also hoping that this journey might inspire us to explore new professional directions and perhaps discover paths we hadn’t considered before.

So, before we tell you more about what we’re looking for, here’s a little bit about each of us.

Sarah
I’m creative, dynamic, sociable, and always up for a good laugh. I’m naturally spontaneous and enjoy meeting new people, discovering new environments, and making the most of every experience.

I’m also very interested in learning more about traditional and handmade crafts, discovering different artisanal techniques, and understanding the skills and creativity behind them. I’m also curious about the world of wellness and would love to learn more about practices such as massage and other ways of creating relaxing and meaningful experiences for travellers.

Julie :
I’m curious, kind, and creative, with a very hands-on side. I love figuring out how things are made, how they fit together, and finding practical ways to build or create something. I’m always eager to learn, understand how things work, and discover new skills.

I also love gardening and spending time in nature. I’m particularly interested in learning more about the environment, sustainable practices, and different ways of living a more eco-friendly lifestyle. I’d love to gain practical knowledge and discover new ways of connecting with nature in everyday life.

We’re two people who love life, dancing and meeting new people. We’ve tried all kinds of dance styles and simply love moving, discovering and sharing.

We’re also very sensitive to environmental and sustainable development issues. As two humanists, we like to believe that there is something good in everyone and that even small actions can help make a difference.

We’re big animal lovers too! We have two cats back home, and we already miss them a lot while travelling. So we’re always happy to meet and spend time with animals along the way. 🐾

Right now, we feel like changing up our daily lives, stepping a little outside our comfort zone and bringing more movement into our lives. Travelling, meeting new people, learning, helping out and sharing new experiences are what really inspire us!

And above all, we want to do it with a smile, good vibes and a good dose of fun 😊

Julie : Being a very curious person, I learned a bit about a lot of things : I had a cegetable garden for a few years and a compost, I have been working in a vegetable farm for a few month (althought it was not organic), i know how to build or fix wood furniture, I have worked as a waiteress in a restaurant and know how to welcom people, and since I have been working as a project manager for most of my life, I know very well how to organize myself or a group or project.


Sarah : Creative, dynamic, sociable, I work as a sale manager in the custom sewing of curtains and cushions produced in France in a small family business during 6 years. Before that I was looking for myself and I had a few diffferent experiences : receptionist in a campsite in France, receptionist in Autsralia in a small hotel, booking agent in a tourism office, picking mandain (in autralia) or vegetable in france, laundress in France, girl au pair in Irland, booking agent in Montréal.
