I love workaway! My first experience was in September of 2021 in the country of Georgia.... To date, I have worked on at least 20 different workways in 14 countries. It has been an absolutely wonderful experience for me. Making so many new friends and I hope and believe really helping out all of my hosts!
I am a retired carpenter from America,But the road is now my home! I love and have some experience with DIY building projects and landscaping.having created many new spaces in an organic way that are more beautiful. functional and organized than they were before... This is my comfort zone but I am open to all sorts of different types of work!
I believe that I am a am a diligent worker and I'm very adaptible to the changing needs of the situations I encounter.
I do not have any problem being in very isolated rural settings or in active urban centers...

I had a very enjoyable and lovely stay. With Sylvia and Fernando.... To begin with the town of Stroncone( An easy 2km stroll) is a gem of a place.... and their home is also very, very lovely. The sunsets are always spectacular.

Robert stayed with me for 2.5 weeks. Robert is very hardworking, fast, good organizer. During this time, the large garage was cleaned, which was covered with a mixture of about 30-50 cm of old manure and hay. Bob helped me lot with fighting the worms in attic 's beams. Even it was pretty hard and demanding job in dusty messy attic he was creative to organise and clean the place first and then he did a great job to cut worst eaten parts of the beams. Robert came to stay with me for a week. He cut the hedge and he used all the odd bits of wood I had left over from the renovation of my cottage to build a shelter for my caravan and he even made a little corner bench as part of the construction. It looks great, thank you Robert.

It was great to meet Robert and to host him he is always willing to help and he brings creative ideas and solutions to problems. He came up with a great way to fix a steep slope by using old roof tiles, and he turned that space into a nice terraced area full of flowers!
