Hi, I'm Pauline. I recently graduated from high school and now I'm ready for something big. I want to see something of the world, have unique experiences, meet nice people and so much more. Because finish school and then go straight to study or do an apprenticeship? That's boring, anyone can do that. I want to get to know other cultures and travel to countries that I may not have even known existed. That's why I'm taking a year from now on to travel the world. I'm so excited about this year, what surprises it will bring me and also what difficulties it will have in store for me. But one thing is clear to me: it will be a year full of unforgettable experiences and memories that will last forever. Full of new friendships and incredible moments that I get to share with amazing people.
I'm already traveling since more than three month and I've already been to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.

Basically, I can say that I am open to everything and any employment that is offered on this platform. At the moment I would like to work for a host for a maximum of a month, but if we get along well and I enjoy the work, I can definitely imagine working for longer than a month.
I have been particularly committed to the environment and nutrition for years (I am vegan), but I also really enjoy working with animals. But childcare and babysitting would also be jobs that would bring me great joy.
I really enjoy working with other people, so I would really enjoy working with other workawayers. So if you're a workawayer looking for a travel companion, don't hesitate to contact me!

I would really like to learn Spanish because this language is spoken in many countries and, in my opinion, it's a beautiful language. But if there is an opportunity to learn another language, I would also take it up with great interest. I would particularly like to teach the German and Italian languages to others and I already have a bit of experience in this since I regularly gave tutoring at school.

I have a passion for cooking and baking. I particularly enjoy preparing vegan meals, cakes and desserts, even in larger quantities.
I also really enjoy working with children, be it doing crafts, going for a walk, playing on the playground, or telling a story to fall asleep.
In addition to my mother tongue German, I speak English and Italian and could also imagine teaching other people these languages, especially the German language.
Through my vegan lifestyle, which I have been practicing for over four years now, I have gained a completely new relationship with animals. That's why working with animals, especially on an animal farm, is particularly important to me. At home I have a dog named Tess, with whom I go for walks a lot and learn new tricks. For several months I have also been volunteering at the animal shelter in my hometown and looking after the dogs there, all of whom are looking for a new home.
I also really enjoy working in the garden at home and caring for plants and numerous beds, which I can also very well imagine as a job for a host.

I already did a voluntary project in Thailand for three weeks at a vegan farm with permaculture where I did some gardening, cooking, construction with bamboo and art.

I really enjoy doing sports, especially tennis, dancing, but especially yoga, Pilates and meditation are among my favorites.
Even though I don't drink alcohol, you can still have a lot of fun with me at a fun game night, in front of the campfire or just at dinner and it's always fun ;-)
