Hey! My name is Patricia and I am from Portugal, and currently I am in a "break" between jobs (also called unemployment). By background, I am a pharmacist, but my passion for international environments made me switch quickly to a different path - I was recently working in the field of international relations and health in Brussels. Despite the change, I was still unhappy, because I realized that I was only pursuing this area, because I love to travel, and be surrounded by people from different cultures. I am currently experimenting different things, but my gut tells that working in the tourism area could be a possibility - One of the things that I most value in life is meeting people from different cultures.

Since university, my curiosity for the world led me to experience many opportunities abroad, having been part of several volunteering projects, an international student organization, an international institution and company. In the past years, I also worked as a community pharmacist, having to deal with more than 100 clients per day, and adapt to their needs. I believe that my experience/passion for traveling solo, working with the public, and experience in working in international teams, makes me a great profile to work in the hospitality area, particularly the front desk. More recently, I worked as an hotel manager for Tomorrowland festival in Belgium for 2 weeks. Although the experience was short, I learned a lot, as I was responsible for guaranteeing that 360 guests had an amazing experience. Besides the front desk, I am capable of contributing to whatever needed, including housekeeping, organizing events (I love to organize creative game nights!), and selling and matching guests with tours and travel experiences.
