Hey there,
My name is Nils, I am 31 years old and from Germany.
I am a secondary school teacher of sports and history. However, I currently work at an elementary school.
During my summer vacation from July-August I would like to participate in an interesting volunteer project.

In August 2022 I did a voluntary project in Peru for one month at a provisional primary school. In 2024 I also did 3 months of volunteering at different places in Colombia. The work there consisted in farmwork, teaching english at a language institute and work as a teacher in a Colombian Highschool.

I am a friendly, open minded and empathetic person. Also I am reliable and can quickly adopt to new circunstances.
In my opinion everything you do in live is better if you do it with an positive attidude rather than a negative one.
I like to be outside spending time in the nature and learn and try new skills and things.
I love sports and movement in general, meet and interact with new people, improve my language skills and learn about other cultures.

Que habilidades tienes?

- Education as a teacher for children in the age of 10-18, with the subjects sports and history.
- Working experience at a Primary school (3 Months) as a class teacher for a 3rd grade class.
- Working experience at a High School for 1 1/2 years teaching classes from 5th-12th grade.
- Working with disabled people for 6 Months.
- Volunteering at a provisional Primary School in Peru for one month.

I dont have much experience in practical things like painting, building stuff or gardening but I am motivated and willing to learn and help in this areas.


My english is not perfect but I can speak more or less fluent and definitely can help children learning the language.
I speak spanish at a basic level (B1) so that I am able to have easy conversations with spanish native people. One of my goals is to improve my language skills.

I am not a extroverted person but I like to work with people in different ways for example teaching. I would say that I am a pretty uncomplicated person who can arrange fast in different situations and also work well in a team or group.
Overall i see my strenght in working with people on an eductional project. But I am open to learn new things and will be motivated to help in any ways that are required like housework, painting, building, repairing things, etc.., but I dont have much experience in this fields.

I am not that bad in backgammon. Just kidding. I like to get in an exchange with nice and friendly people that have a positive view on life. I like to move, be in the nature and explore new things.
