I am a German Social Worker taking a break for traveling and improving my spanish. I have been to 60 countries and cannot wait to see more. Currently I am traveling with my Mini Van around Spain and Portugal. I love nature and animals as well as the seaside. I would love to connect with like minded people, support communities, care for animals etc. In the long run I am looking for a way of living that ist not dominated by work and bad weather ;). I have experience working with children, animals, farming and hospitality. I have good organisational skills, I am sociable and quick to learn new things. Hope to meet up and help soon

I had a great time at Jakes place. Everything there is selfmade with much care which makes it a unique, beautiful place. The Campervan I slept in is very cosy and the outdoor showers are great! I was working alongside Jake building a wooden roof structure and also independently in the garden, weeding and preparing vegetable beds. The work was… read more

It was a great experience to have Nadja as a workawayer. Reliable, open , very friendly and with a good Sense of Humor, we immediately connected.

I was looking after veras cats and watering her plants for about week and loved everything about it. We had a good conversation in the beginning and Vera made the tasks very clear and understandable. I stayed at Silverto for two weeks, housesitting and looking after the cuddly animals. During that time I slept in the Yurt and in the Campervan - both well equipped and comfy. The main house, which is beautifil and newly renovated has a nice bathroom and a kitchen. We shared expenses for food and took turns for cooking in our small community.… read more

I stayed there in February and had a good time with the other volunteers there. It's a bit like a community centre for lovely American and Canadian expats, not much spanish is spoken there. Nadja estuvo solo una semana con nosotros, es una persona activa y muy despierta, lo que hace que aprenda muy rápido y sea eficaz.
Cuido muy bien de los animales y ellos estaban encantados.
La comunicación fue buena ya que ella habla español.

I was lucky they accepted me for one week as I was in Spain in between flights. I had a very nice time with Carmen, the two Raphaels and the animales. The work is just as described in the profile and involves feeding, cleaning, making hay and carrying horse poop 💩. I definately gained some muscles there :).
