Hello! I’m Mia (Yu) Miyazaki from Japan.

I have spent the past 6 years working as a consultant at a recruitment agency in Tokyo. Currently, I am in a "recharge" period after completing my career at my previous firm and before starting my next career step this May.

Having studied at an American university, I am fluent in English and truly love traveling and interacting with people from all walks of life. I am a huge food lover, and I adore kids and animals!

I would describe myself as a curious, resilient person. While I’ve spent years in a fast-paced work environment, my heart is driven by human connection and a love for nature. I’ve decided to spend my time abroad to reconnect with a simpler way of living and to contribute my energy to meaningful local projects.

Intercultural Communication: Having studied at an American university and worked as a recruitment consultant for 6 years, I am experienced in interacting with people from diverse global backgrounds. I possess a deep understanding and respect for different perspectives, making me adaptable and empathetic member in any community.

Professional team working background: I have worked as a team for the past 6 years, I understand team dynamics and can be very collaborative.

Education & Kids: I have completed teacher training classes and done internship at school in Japan and have experience in volunteering at an orphanage and elementary school in Zimbabwe for two weeks as well. I love working with children. I am patient, encouraging, and experienced in educational support.

Physical Stamina: I also love hiking and heads to the mountains several times a year. I believe I have much more stamina than average, and am ready for hands-on outdoor labor as well.

Cooking & DIY: I like cooking as well, and I also have a strong interest in DIY projects and am a fast learner with manual tasks.

Animal Care: Comfortable with dogs and cats—happy to help with feeding, walking, and care.
