Hi there!

We're Maddie and Amber, two longtime friends with a love for adventure, meeting new people, and enjoying the simple things in life. We enjoy both the excitement of exploring new places and the happiness of relaxing with a good book, tasty food, good company, and a beautiful sunset.

I (Maddie) love cooking and am always excited to learn a new recipe. Amber loves to work through new ideas and bring order to chaos. After working on our master's degrees in International Development while working full-time for the past three years, we are blessed to be able to explore the world for a bit.

Our education is in global development and business, with experience in web design and creative administrative work. We also have a fun side – we're escape room pros and even have our own escape room business in the United States (you can check it out at escaperoomsunlocked.com). Most importantly, we are hard workers who thrive on new challenges, and are always happy to take whatever is in front of us and make it our own!

We're not just looking for a place to stay; we want to connect with people, learn about different cultures, and contribute our skills wherever we can help. If you're looking for friendly, adaptable, and dedicated individuals to join your community, we'd be thrilled to be a part of it.

Master's degree holders in global development and business, we bring a deep understanding of socio-economic landscapes and sustainable development goals and a deeper desire to help wherever we can!

💻 Web Design and Creative Skills:
We have built Wordpress websites and have experience running business social media accounts. We also have written a monthly email newsletter for a law firm!

🧩 Escape Room Fun:
Escape rooms need problem-solving and teamwork skills, which make us adaptable to dynamic environments. We have built 14 rooms from scratch, doing everything from designing the puzzles to laying the floor.

🛠️ Adaptable and Hardworking:
We have a strong belief that given time and dedication, we can teach ourselves any needed skills—whether online, business-related, or hands-on tasks like mending or creating new items.

👨‍🍳 Culinary Passion:
Put either of us in a kitchen, and we are happy to cook whatever needs cooking and even happier to learn new skills!
