Hey there!
My name is Luise!
During my university studies, I regularly spent my term breaks doing workaway on farms in Sweden and Norway. I worked at an organic farm in Sweden several summers in a row and picked all kinds of vegetables while learning about organic farming practices. Last summer, I spent a month on a sheep farm in northern Norway making hay and learning about animal keeping.
I love meeting new people and learning new skills in friendly and open-minded environments while spending as much time outside as possible. I love being outdoors in all kinds of weather, I am very practically minded and always eager to learn from other people and to have insights into their daily lives. I am especially interested in projects pursuing a sustainable objective and also try to reduce my own life’s environmental impact.
I am a very reliable, tolerant and outgoing person easy to get along with.
I now started my first full-time job which limits the time I can spend doing workaway but I haven't lost my love for learning about different cultures and farming practices while travelling - looking forward to meeting you!Idiomas hablados

I could help you with general household tasks and work in the garden, I am practically thinking, flexible and I learn fast. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty when working, I like crafting, I am eager to find solutions to challenges and I care about the small details.
I am quite skilled when it comes to tasks related to textiles and operating a sewing machine, so if you have anything that needs fixing I am more than happy to help you out.
Apart from that I am of course looking forward to developing new skills by learning from other people!Edad

Maybe your way will lead you here again - I would be glad!
Caro and Hagen taught me how to use a scythe and then we started each morning with an hour of scything a nearby meadow to make hay for the sheep. Caro also let me experiment with the sheep wool and her spinning wheel, we went to a local market… read more
