Hi my name is Kris and i am 21 years old. As a young adult I am trying to figure out my place in this world and how to contribute to more kindness, happiness, and awareness about mental and physical health. Right now I am focussing on personal, spiritual development. I take yoga classes and try different meditationtechniques. My interest goes out to alternative medicine.
In 2022 I travelled with a friend for three months through Europe by car. Since then I feel infected by a need to travel. I would love to meet new people, see new countries, experience different cultures, share thoughts, ways of living and knowledge etc etc etc...
In the wintertimes here I like to spend my time reading books, listening to music, playing the piano, crochet beanies, spend time with friends and dance. I have been dancing since I was 5 years old. I prefer the classic dance styles, like ballet and modern dance.

After finishing my pre-university-education in 2020 i worked at my old school as a teaching assistant. I worked in the school for 3 years. I worked with kids from 12 to 18 years old. My job was to help them organise their work and explain about the different subjects. I also worked with kids with a diagnose. Such as HDHD, ADD, depression, anxiety disorders and so on.
I also practice energetic massage.
I am a certified Hatha/vinyasa yoga teacher.

I would describe myself as an openminded, social, responsible, relaxed and caring person, who loves to be in nature. I think travelling will fulfil the need to widen my view on the world and myself. Working hard is not a problem at all for me. I love animals, I did horse riding for seven years and love cats, dogs and smaller animals. As written before I work with kids, aslo something I really love.
I speak Dutch, English, and beginner/intermediate French. I would love to practice my French more. Learning Spanish is also high on my priority list :)

I am currently traveling south-east Asia to escape the Dutch winter :)

I feel like I can do a little bit of a lot of things. I am a fast learner and ready to learn about any required skill.

I like bulding and working with wood. I made my own two-person bed from scratch. From drawing, to measuring, to sanding till painting. Everything.

I like to paint, i have painted many things. A wall, a staircase, an old tiny closet, doors and more.

I can say I am a succesfull plantmom. So taking care of plants and gardens is no problem.

I love taking care of animals. And working with kids has been my job for the past three years.

I love conversations about philosophy and the way the world and different systems work.

I can cook, I can clean (I had a side job where i cleaned houses) and I am a pretty good organiser.

I have a good problem-solving mindset (if that's a word), it does not take me long to come with practical solutions to problems.

I want to finish with saying: i am open to learn anything new. I think you should never stop learning new skills :)

I love watching sunrises and sunsets. I even like setting an early alarm to se the sun rise.
I love long walks in nature. It calms my mind.
I love sitting on our flat rooftop. I sit there to watch the moon and the stars.
I love laying on the ground. It makes me feel grounded.
I love observating nature, the stars, animals etc. while my mind wanders around.

Currently looking for a way to escape the Dutch winter :)
