In the winter, I work at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort cooking with a team of world-trained chefs. I’ve been learning a ton—this year I focused on making fancy sauces and pizza, which has been awesome. I love cooking for other people, and on my days off, I snowboard as much as I can. At home, we make a lot of sushi using tuna I caught on a deep sea fishing trip.

I’m 20 and really into working with animals and being outdoors. I’ve taken care of horses, dogs, chickens, goats, and ducks on ranches in Montana, and I’ve worked at a stable in Colorado where I helped lead trail rides and cared for the horses. I’ve also done ranch hospitality stuff like cleaning guest rooms and helping out wherever needed.

I’ve gotten some light construction experience too—working on renovation projects around the ranch, doing repairs and small builds. I also spent time on a tree farm in California where I learned how to drive a tractor and run a mill, which gave me more hands-on experience.

I’ve worked in restaurants for a couple of years, so I know my way around a kitchen, food safety, and doing dishes. I like being part of a team, staying busy, and helping out however I can. I enjoy gardening and growing vegetables, and I’ve helped my family with canning—so I have a bit of experience with food preservation. What makes me happiest is seeing people smile because of something I did.

Right now, I’m trying to get experience on different farms and ranches because someday I’d love to study agriculture or ranch management—and hopefully have a small ranch of my own

  • Que habilidades tienes?

Growing up with backyard chickens, ducks, dogs, and a big garden, I've always been into animals and farming. I've taken care of goats, pigs, and horses, and I even worked as a stable hand at a horse rides/boarding facility. I've also done various jobs in restaurants as a cook, cashier, dishwasher, and closer. Yard work like weeding is no problem for me along with basic construction and landscaping. I'm planning to go to school for something related to agriculture or ranching. I love the outdoors—hunting, fishing, rafting, hot springs, snowboarding, hiking, camping—you name it. I can lift 50-100 pounds and have done some minor mechanical work on my truck. Plus, I clean horse stalls, chicken coops, and handle feeding and saddling the horses.

I really enjoy animals, gardening, playing board games, and all kinds of outdoor activities. I'm really easy to get along with and love learning new things. Since I'm taking online courses, I need a place with reliable WiFi to send my homework and get assignments. I'm looking for opportunities to explore different types of agriculture, as well as outdoor and ranching career paths.
