Explore → Connect → Joy ♥
Hello everyone!
My name is Karin, I come from the Czech Republic.
At the moment I am living abroad, but my dream and plan for the near future is to finally start my journey through Asia. I believe that travelling is not only about visiting places, but also about meeting people, sharing experiences and learning from each other. That is why I am so excited to join Workaway – to connect with others, contribute where I can, and collect beautiful memories along the way.
People usually describe me as a smiling, friendly and communicative person. I am naturally curious, open-minded and I enjoy meeting new people, but I also love the quiet moments in nature surrounded by greenery and animals. I’d say I am both social and independent — I can easily adapt to teamwork as well as work on my own.
At the moment, I work as an animator in a hotel, creating activities for both kids and adults (sports, games, shows, creative workshops). From this I have good experience with organizing, leading groups and keeping positive energy flowing. I am also responsible, reliable, quick to learn new things and not afraid of trying something new. In the past I worked in customer service, hospitality and behind the bar, so I am used to being flexible and helpful in different roles.
In my free time, I love dancing, hiking, rollerblading, drawing, cooking, or simply exploring new places. I’m also passionate about animals (I used to take care of dogs and cats) and I enjoy working around the house or garden if needed. I like to stay creative — making photos, videos (little drone too) or trying new skills.
I’m excited to share good energy, learn from others and hopefully bring a bit of joy and help wherever I go. -

Yes! I can teach the basics of English (no certificate, but I enjoy helping others to practice). At the moment I am learning the basics of Korean and Japanese, and I am definitely interested in improving and expanding my language skills while traveling. -

Que habilidades tienes?
I am experienced in working with children and adults through my current job as a hotel animator (sports, creative and social activities). I have also worked in hospitality and customer service, so I am flexible and comfortable helping in different roles. I can assist with household tasks, light gardening, taking care of animals, and I am always open to learning new skills. Creative activities such as dancing, drawing, cooking, or making photos/videos are also part of what I enjoy and can share.
