Hello and welcome to our little haven in the Taunus Hills near Frankfurt am Main!
We – Sandra Li and Gregor – are a couple living in Neu-Anspach, a peaceful town nestled in the scenic Taunus Hills, a low mountain range in the heart of Germany. Our home offers the perfect blend of countryside tranquility and easy access to the vibrant city of Frankfurt. The region is known for its lush forests, charming villages, and hiking trails with panoramic views and historic landmarks. Whether you're into nature walks, photography, or simply unwinding, the Taunus is a hidden gem waiting to be explored.
We’re passionate about Asian garden culture and creative DIY projects. Our current focus is transforming the garden into a serene space inspired by Asian aesthetics, and we’d love your help with planting, landscaping, and outdoor tasks. Sandra also runs a small art space where she’s often immersed in painting, crafting, and other creative projects—and she’s happy to collaborate with Workawayers.
We enjoy cultural exchange and meaningful conversations. Stays of 2 to 4 weeks are ideal, and we can host up to 3 adults comfortably.
If you're easygoing, enjoy nature, and like to get hands-on with gardening or creative work, we’d love to hear from you!Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

We love traveling and discovering different cultures, and hosting Workawayers feels like inviting a little piece of the world into our home. We enjoy sharing local places, foods, and everyday life with our guests—and we’re always curious to learn about the cultures, stories, and perspectives they bring along.
Whether you’re up for deep conversations over dinner, joining us on small outings, or simply prefer quiet time and independence, we respect your personal rhythm. Cultural exchange here can be as immersive or relaxed as you wish.
We’re also happy to support you in practicing and improving your German. Whether it’s through casual conversation, shared meals, or everyday interactions, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to hear and speak the language in a relaxed and supportive environment. If you're interested, we can help with vocabulary, pronunciation, or simply chatting about daily life.
We’re happy to share what we know—and just as happy to learn from you.Ayuda
We’re currently transforming our garden into a peaceful space inspired by Asian garden culture. Your help may include trimming plants, planting, weeding, and cleaning pathways to shape a beautiful and well-kept landscape. No special skills are needed—just a willingness to work outdoors and be part of the process.
When the weather doesn’t allow for outdoor work, there are always things to do inside the house, such as cleaning or helping with general household tasks. If you have certain skills or enjoy hands-on creativity, there are also small DIY projects waiting for you—especially in Sandra’s art space, where she’s often working on painting, crafting, and other creative ideas.
We both work full-time during the week, so you'll often have the freedom to organize your day independently. You're welcome to choose when to complete your 4–5 hours of help, five days a week—whether you prefer mornings, afternoons, or splitting tasks throughout the day. When time permits, we love working on projects together and sharing ideas.
We usually start our days early and have lunch at different times depending on our workload. A few times a week, we enjoy coming together to cook and share dinner—these are relaxed, cozy moments where we exchange stories and enjoy good food. Of course, how much you’d like to join in is entirely up to you.
And if you get along well with our dog, Candy, you’re welcome to take her for walks through the scenic trails of the Taunus hills.Idiomas
