I'm looking for a place to start my homestead. I have 2 children and a partner. I'm passionate about learning to live more self-sufficiently, with less things and maximum joy, in harmony with nature and good community.

The experiences that have deeply affected my trajectory, in chronological order, involve dance, the hospitality industry, conducting and publishing scientific research, moving abroad, learning a new language as an adult, interior design, blogging and online marketing, specialty coffee, entrepreneurship, mothering, caretaking, home-educating and growing/raising/harvesting/butchering my own food.

Dana and Phil are amazing! They are a very inspiring couple who have achieved a lot in a short amount of time, establishing their homestead and living the rich life they want. Holly, with her friends Jen & Kyle and their small clan made supreme company at my nested off grid cabin in Skedaddle ridge. They were clear about what tasks needed to be done, welcoming of volunteering families and the accommodations were super cozy on a beautiful campsite. These folks hit the ground running! Very respectful and engaged. It was our first experience hosting families with children and it was surprisingly refreshing. We would do it again! Highly recommend this crew to other hosts. I enjoyed learning about their lives as much as I did sharing ours. They are welcome anytime.
