We are Harry and Hettie, we're both 28 and British; from a very small and sunny seaside town in the South of England. Whilst at home, you can find us walking along the seafront or on coastal country walks, which ideally would result in an English Pub Roast. However, whilst we're away from home, you can find us living our dream adventure of a lifetime: Alaska to Argentina via our motorcycle.

A little bit about Hettie...
I'm a hardworking, people-person who feels at home when cooking whilst listening to music, and being surrounded by friends and family. I love being outside in nature; sometimes we can be outside for weeks without realising as we travel by motorbike, camping along the way, and exploring the surrounding area with hikes. I'm a highly adaptable worker; my past work life includes working in social media, events management, personal assistant to a CEO, and working in a school. However, I also grew up on a farm, so I've always been more than happy to get my hands dirty and give my it my all to get things done. Previous volunteer work includes working with Refugee charities and community fundraising events.

A little bit about Harry...
I've always had a passion for travel and adventure! In 2018, I cycled over 10,000 miles from Hastings to China to raise awareness for CALM, a men's suicide prevention charity. I've visited many countries, and really spent time immersing myself in new cultures. When I'm not travelling, I enjoy my time by the sea - being outside as much as possible. I used to work in a bicycle shop, so I know a thing or two about bicycles and touring. For our current adventure, we decided to upgrade to motorcycle as new challenge. I'm incredibly hardworking, and love getting stuck in to any new projects and challenges!

We are new to Workaway, however, we have been travelling since April - we've covered nearly 10,000 miles in Canada and the US. Along the way, we have stayed with several hosts from the 'Bunk-a-Biker' community, and have assisted them with home and garden projects as repayment for them opening their home to us.

- General household: Hettie is ace in the kitchen and Harry has previously worked for his family cleaning business
