During my travels, I like to stop somewhere for a little while longer to be able to peek under the touristic facade. I encounter the most interesting thing in narrow side roads, far away from the masses and everything that I have learned about other cultures and countries stems from the people I have met.
On my journeys I try to not only take (experiences, information, knowledge) but also leave something of mine behind, in an effort to give something back. Sharing life experiences with the people I meet is by far more memorable for me than the views and tastiest dishes.

Participating in Workaway projects seems to me like an interesting opportunity which allows one to experience daily life and work together, bringing the exchange of experiences and points of view to a whole new depth.

What I really like is:
Individual travel (over weeks or months)
Cycling and mountain hiking
Exploring other cultures
Psychology, therapeutic methods of working with the body (lately, especially the Lowen method)
I am learning to play the Darbuka
Literature, cinema
Venturing off the beaten tracks

Past life ;) experiences:
- Many years of psycho-educational workshop work with adults, children, and adolescents
-Certified coach
-Volunteer work on archaeological excavations
-Many years of contact with people from different cultures
-Many years of experience travelling independently
-I have done painting and minor maintenance work in my own flats
- I have raised two dogs and have a basic knowledge of dog needs and psychology

Experiences from the present trip life:
- twice (2024 and 2025) - 4 months working in a campsite: tidying up after winter and preparing campsite for new season, gardening; during season preparing cabins for tourists, cleaning up etc.
- 3 times housesitting + feeding the cats and gardening
- working in 4 off grid quintas in Portugal: clearing the area, levadas and water reservoir, gardening.
