We are currently backpacking in Asia, willing to have some volunteering experience related with conscious ways of living, where we can learn new abilities, meet people and live a new experience.

Hello!!

We are Gime (27 years old) and Manu (35 years old), a couple from Uruguay.

We met while working as employees in the same company, Gime as an accountant and Manu as an industrial-mechanical engineer, but after several years of living like that, we realized that it was no longer fulfilling, we did not want to continue that life. So, in December 2021 we took the decision to quit our dependent jobs to go on a trip around the world.

We are travelling with the aim of leaving our comfort zone, broaden our vision, challenge our beliefs, meet new people and other ways of living; in order to continue in the search of who we are and the life we want to build.

Now it has been almost 1 year of travelling. Firstly we did Camino de Santiago, walking 1000 Km from France to Spain and then we continued backpacking some part of Europe. Afterwards we took a flight to India where we spend 5 months backpacking and the continue through Nepal and Thailand where we spent 3 more months.

At the moment we would like to volunteer some weeks in order to enrich ourselves with new experiences, meet other people, learn new abilities, and share what we have learnt as well.

We are interested in learning about sustainable and conscious ways of living such as permaculture, yoga and others. We are nature lovers and also keen on self-development and spirituality, on the way to discover ourselves and our path. We are both ontological coaches and would be very happy to share what we have learnt in process, which has been really valuable for us.

We define ourselves us trusty, honest, responsible and easygoing people, willing to learn and help other people in their projects.

As a plus, Manu has knowledge in energy and he is keen on renewable energy sources.

We are hard-workers, proactive and flexible people, willing to learn, adapt and help in any situation.

About experience, we have done volunteering in the past with some charities centers in our country which involved building houses for people, taking care of elderly people and playing with childrens.

Manu has also knowledge about engineering, manteinance and energy related things and Gime loves plants and gardening.
