Hello Workaway,

Our names are Gavin and Linnette, from Alberta, Canada! We are a young, married couple recently realizing our dream of meaningful global exploration and travel. We stumbled upon workaway as a means of delivering more localized, unique and special travel, cultural and connective opportunities. We're incredibly excited to see what opportunities and paths this platform can provide for us, and what we can provide the world and hosts from it.

We are still learning and evolving our way of travel, and seek cultural immersion and local interactions over all, and to participate on the other side of tourism, by trying to really "live" wherever we visit. We want to learn and grow from our beautiful world, not tick off boxes. We have found the most rewarding experiences by far to be coincidental encounters or moments that we aim to make less-coincidental from workaway! We have joined in order to meet new people and build global connections, embrace, observe and learn culture, and coexist within the atmosphere of any place we visit, while providing our growing skillsets for diverse and interesting projects in exchange. And hopefully, reciprocate what we seek vice-versa with those who host!

We both have differing educational and work backgrounds which provides us with our skill sets, which we aim to expand with workaway. We can assist with our physical labour, mechanical and trades related skills, outdoor and fitness knowledge and aptitude, and our housekeeping and cooking skills. As well, we desire to learn and operate with new and learned skillsets. We are used to demanding and challenging work, and often thrive this way.

We look forward to giving back, and participating in a society which provides us new perspective, beauty, smiling faces and welcomeness, abundance of cultural and natural wealth, and learning opportunities for growth and knowledge!

Most importantly, we have a healthy attitude towards work and learning. We're happily adaptable and open minded to working in any environment and willing to engage in multiple skill sets.
