Hey! I'm Flora!
I'm passionate about connecting with what's alive in our hearts underneath the judgements we've been programmed to think in terms of.
Traditional employment hasn't been working for me for a long time. I am 30 years old and have worked 28 different jobs in my life. I often found myself frustrated with the buerocratic aspects of work that would disconnect me from the human to human connections I was really interested in.
Finally I decided to make some big changes in my life, so now I'm trying something different! I gave away all of my worldly possessions and am traveling across the country, making new connections, teaching communication workshops, and sharing my art with people!

My background is in science and math education, but I've done a lot of different jobs in my life!
I have a lot of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
I was a lifeguard for 7 years.
I did a bit of set construction for my high school theater group and am fairly handy with tools.
I don't mind cleaning or other manual labor!
I've spent a lot of time studying Nonviolent Communication and trauma healing over the last few years.
I paint watercolors! Abstracts mostly. I have some on my profile if you're curious!
