Hello :)
We are Emma and Pauline, two best friends from Germany and both 20 years old.
We met many years ago in school and soon dreamt about travelling Asia together.
Since we now graduated high school, we are really excited about finally making our dream come true!

We live in the countryside so we grew up close to nature and developed a passion for sustainability. Also, different animals like chicken, goats, dogs, cats, bunnies etc are familiar to us and we'd love to take care of them if you have any.
As we both grew up with multiple siblings, we learnt to compromise in a household and work together to make it the best experience for everyone involved.

We've both already taken part in school exchanges to Asia (Emma to Japan and Pauline to Indonesia) where we both really loved our experiences and the impressions of different cultures we could gather, so we are really looking forward to learning and exploring even more!

We are especially motivated to learn about your ways of life or interesting projects and supporting those where we can.
For that, we are also eager to develop new skills and share our own knowledge.

We are open to gaining new perspectives of the world and get to know a lot of different people :)

We would love to learn the language of the country we‘re staying in, as it always gives you more opportunities to get to know locals and makes you feel more confident! We both enjoy learning new languages and are able to catch on the basics pretty quickly.

Regarding dietary restrictions: we‘re both vegan (for ethic reasons not due to allergies) and would be happy if we could follow through with that lifestyle at your stay. However we don‘t have any high standards and don‘t want to make circumstances, we‘re also willing to cook for ourselves (and others if they want to). If this might be a problem, please feel free to talk about possible adaptions!
