I've been traveling the great land of Oz for over a year now! Starting in Perth where I bought my car and converted it into a pretty nice discovering vessel. I've been all over the south and east coast, even crossed over to stunning Tassy :) Which is where I'm coming back to end of December.
After 3 months of working in construction I'm excited about the travel, but I'm also bubbling to start studying and learning skills for creating sustainable community's. My interests peak towards urban planning and geo-information, I already have a few online courses lined up. I'd love to be in a place for a bit to get started on them whilst also learning about self-sufficiency and community in the practical real world sense. What better way than workaway!

I'm interested to learn about sustainable building, self-sufficiency, regenerative farming/building practices, repair and reuse, carpentry and others world views and ways of living.

My main occupation is CAD freelancing and besides this I volunteer at a local community garden I co-founded a few years ago, growing herbs, vegetables and also mushrooms (indoor & outdoor) and delicious microgreens as well.
I have other self started passion projects, and am now getting into studying (sustainable) urban planning and GIS.
Whilst in Australia I've designed a tiny house for someone, worked on a corn farm, and worked at a construction company doing all sorts of tasks.

Very interested in getting to know those who host me, your way of living and sharing experiences.
I'm a quick and keen learner who doesn't shy away from labor intensive work. I love doing things together, but am also very independent.

My dutch and english are fluent in speaking and writing and am all for teaching to anyone. I like to learn about local language, some basic speaking for convenience, but also to understand conversations around me. Always interesting to know what people generally talk about. I barely speak any turkish, but am lowkey able to understand the topic of casual conversations.

Before starting my travels I lived independently in a house with a garden around for 3 years, giving me plenty experience in gardening and housekeeping.

Working at the community garden taught me about teamwork and physical work.

I love to repair things and problem-solve on the spot. My latest success was reviving my 18yo vacuum cleaner. I also built a foldable bed, dual battery system and fridge into my car of which I'm quite proud.

I know a thing or two about growing culinary mushrooms and micro-greens.

Digital skills include making 3D visualizations, build plans, floor plans and area maps. Also know my way around any computer related issues.

I'm an organizer, if you have a messy storage leave it to me :)

I'm quality over quantity, I prefer to do things right than to do something rushed and don't mind putting in extra time to get something done.
I also don't mind doing repetitive every-day tasks, I usually find them meditative to do, a nice moment to clear the mind.

I have some experience with carpentry (Like my car camper conversion) but am very interested to get more into it.
