We are young South Africans, passioned about travelling, sport and adventure. Both Daleen and I enjoy being physically active, anything from mountain biking, swimming, trail running to any water sports.

We love meeting new people and thus decided to take on this adventure to travel Europe for a few month. We are very energetic, and eager to learn and grow as young individuals as we embark om this journey.

I, Christie, the first workawayer, grew up in Hartenbos, a quaint beach town in South Africa. My affinity for hands-on work and a passion for collaboration define me. I consider myself robust, independent, and an excellent team player. In 2023, I successfully completed my internship as a Biokineticist in South Africa. My profession requires strong interpersonal skills and physical fitness as I engage in the rehabilitation of sports injuries and disabilities. Embracing an active lifestyle, I find joy in participating in triathlons and trail running events, constantly pushing my physical and mental boundaries.

We had the best week and a half with Zoe, Andrew and Adam. We will forever be grateful for the time spend with them. We absolutely loved sharing our home with Christie and Daleen, they are such a ray of sunshine! They were very polite, hardworking and full of positive energy. Christie & Daleen came to us for a 2 week stay.
They are both lovely girls, we all worked well together and had some laughs along the way.
They both completed all the relevant tasks that were given to them, with 5*s.
House rules were adhered to, and they left The Chalet spotlessly clean & tidy.
