Hello,
we are Melli and Alex. We are currently traveling through Europe with our little van and our cat Dibbi. We love the drop-out life and our van is our little home on wheels that takes us to an incredible number of beautiful places. We dream of one day finding our feel-good place where we can arrive and start our life towards self-sufficiency. This desire has now given rise to the plan to join projects during our travels that are already pursuing precisely this vision, to learn there, to be inspired and, of course, to lend a hand. We are very open-hearted, laugh a lot and enjoy the company of animals and people.

Who we are:

Hi,
I'm Melli and I'm 27 years old. The typical 9 to 5 life has become increasingly difficult for me in recent years, which is why I started my third trip in our van this year, together with Alex and Dibbi. I love trying new things and I learn quickly. I am particularly fascinated by working in a garden and living a self-sufficient life. Minimalism comes very easily to me (except for shells and books, which I think you can't have enough of). After our trip, I would like to expand our vision of a simple life in a permanent home and am therefore looking forward to lots of new input.

Hello,
my name is Alex and I am 32 years old. Last year, I gave up my job as a tool mechanic and my apartment in Germany to start a journey through Europe together with Melli and Dibbi. Over the last few years, I had lost sight of myself and what is really important in life.
On our journeys together, I am gradually finding my way back to myself and to what I really want and need in my life.
I enjoy learning new things and love being outdoors in nature.

Last year alone, we have been able to travel to 10 countries and marvel at so many beautiful things.
I am grateful for that with all my heart.
I am looking forward to everything that is yet to come and I am excited to see where our journey will take us and which place we will one day call home.

Now the best for last:
I am Dibbi and I am a 6 year old British Shorthair male cat. I live with my humans in our van and consider it my home. I am a rather shy kitten, but I am very calm and friendly with other cats and dogs. I like to stay close to the van or my humans and would like to have a place in the workaway environment where I can celebrate my extended naps.

Que habilidades tienes?

Alex is a trained toolmaker and Melli is a trained laboratory technician. We are motivated, have no problem getting our hands dirty and are handy. We are both good with animals and children. Melli can ride a horse, likes knitting and painting. Alex is very interested in
building houses and working with wood. We enjoy cooking vegetarian meals together. Our van is self-built and we would love to do more DIY projects. We both love the garden and nature. Thanks to our many hikes, we are good walkers and don't get tired very quickly.
