Hi, I’m Annika. I live in Berlin and work as a supply chain manager for a non-profit called Acker (https://www.acker.co/) that primarily teaches kids and teenagers how to grow vegetables, fostering an appreciation for our food and where it comes from. I have always cared for the environment and nature, which is why I did my Bachelor’s in Ecology and Environmental Planning. I love to work with my hands and be outside as much as possible in my free time, since my job mainly consists of working in front of a screen. I love to cook, do small DIY projects in my apartment like painting walls, sanding window sills, sewing curtains, and decorating in general.
Music brings me a lot of joy, as does going skating with my friends.

Que habilidades tienes?

I am pretty handy in general, even though I don't have any formal education in a particular craft. I do a lot of repairing (bikes, smaller broken items like lamps and so on in my apartment), installations (washing machines, sink plumbing), and DIY projects (sanding, drilling, sawing, sewing) myself, and I know how to use power tools.
I love to learn and teach myself new things, am not above any kind of work, and I love a challenge.
Through my current work, my parents who owned a plant nursery when I was a kid, and part-time jobs as a gardener, I have gathered good knowledge about plants, gardening, and growing vegetables. I genuinely enjoy any kind of work outdoors.
